Qigong for Beginners

Using movement and breath-work, you’ll learn to balance your Qi and explore ways of performing the ancient art of Shibashi.

The course

The Shibashi is a set of 18 movements designed to improve health and wellbeing — and the perfect introduction to Qigong. Each lesson will teach you a movement, from “Flying Goose” to “Pushing The Wave” so you can slowly build each movement into a flowing set. Led by Michael MacBean, you’ll be encouraged to explore the Shibashi and finish the course ready to live more peacefully, in the present, feeling calmer, sleeping better and strengthening your body and mind.

Qigong

Created by the legendary Yellow Emperor of China, the art of Qigong has a history spanning over 4,000 years. The practice uses moving meditation to balance your qi (roughly pronounced chee), which is your life force energy.
